Requirements for the safety and wellness of all animals in our facility. Due to the close-quartered nature of boarding as well as the number of guests we serve it is very important that we keep everyone safe and healthy. The following is a list of requirements for any day visit or overnight stay.
Dog Vaccinations:
Cat Vaccinations:
Your Pets food:
Please be sure to send extra food in case they spill or your stay is extended for an unforeseen reason.
Food can be brought in any container or bag just make sure it is labeled with your pet’s name and your last name in case we have more than one “Buddy” in the house. If you run out of food during your stay we will purchase a small container of the food and the cost will be added to your bill (receipt provided). A service fee will be added for the additional time and mileage. If you have someone else available to drop food off that is okay too!
Vaccinations are required, your pet may be refused at time of boarding if these are not current. Please note that a vaccination is not a guarantee. No vaccination is 100% effective. Young puppies and older dogs are often more susceptible to illness transmitted dog to dog.
All vaccinations must be current within the LAST YEAR. Some vaccinations can be given that last 1, 2, or 3 years. This is less time and money for you and less hassle for your pet. Ask your Vet!
Proof required for vaccinations can be sent via fax, email, text, or paper copy. It’s a good practice to ask your vet to automatically fax vaccination records to us to keep everything current in case of an emergency as some vet offices now have a policy similar to HIPPA and will not release records to us without owner consent.
IMPORTANT NOTE – Bordetella vaccine (for kennel cough) can infect your dog with the virus while it builds immunity. Therefore we ask you wait at least 3 days after vaccination to bring your pet to us. Bordatella, a virus, can be particularly troublesome to older dogs and puppies so be sure to talk with your vet if you have any concerns.
